Appomattox County crash leave one person in critical condition
Roanoke, Virginia – One person was seriously injured following a single-vehicle crash on Thursday, according to Appomattox Volunteer Fire Department.
The accident occurred in Appomattox County in the 3200 block of Richmond Highway (US-460). The vehicle was found in the median by fire crews and the Appomattox County Rescue Squad.
One occupant suffered serious injuries after being ejected from the vehicle at the time of the crash, and was immediately transported to a hospital for treatment. The person appears to be in critical condition.
Virginia State Police, Appomattox Sheriff’s Office and Concord Fire are among the agencies that responded to the crash.
