Health officials reported 9,473 COVID-19 cases, 89 additional deaths in Virginia
Virginia – As of Monday morning, Virginia health officials have reported 1,000,694 coronavirus cases and 14,957 virus-related fatalities, including 9,473 new confirmed and probable COVID-19 cases and 89 new confirmed and probable virus related deaths from around the state since Thursday.
From the above mentioned cases and fatalities, 734,937 COVID-19 cases and 12,547 deaths are confirmed and 264,757 COVID-19 cases and 2,410 deaths are considered probable as of Monday, December 13.
The Virginia Department of Health also reported that the seven-day COVID-19 test positivity rate has risen from 8.1 percent to 8.7 percent in the last 96 hours.
