Virtual workshop to help businesses attract employees to be hosted in Roanoke
Roanoke, Virginia – The Roanoke Regional Small Business Development Center is helping employers in the Roanoke Valley who struggle to attract and retain workers.
A virtual workshop on the topic will be hosted by the center on Thursday.
Recruitment agencies and representatives from Virginia Career works will take place at the virtual workshop.
Owners of businesses will have the opportunity to ask questions what means to work for them.
“This is a real challenge and there’s a need that needs to be addressed. How can we be part of the solution and provide that space for business owners to come together and talk about this and learn from their peers and learn from individuals?,” Roanoke Regional SBDC Regional Program Director, Heather Fay said.
About 100 business owners signed up to participate at the workshop.
