Kids explore careers at ROTEC
Roanoke. Virginia – Annual 5-5-5 career camp will be hosted this week at Patrick Henry High School by the Roanoke Technical Education center.
In five days, Roanoke fifth graders will experience five different careers.
Patrick Henry High School offers 16 different career opportunities to students to explore and over 200 of them have already signed up.
ROTC, robotics and culinary arts are included.
Students are having so much fun in the camp, as well as the teachers.
”It is so good to be able to interact with kids, see kids socializing, see them engaged in activities that they’ve never done before,” says principal Kathleen Duncan.
Since the school canceled the camp last year due to Covid-19, this is its 12th year as being held.
