Shooting incident leaves a man hospitalized, suspect taken for interview to police station
Roanoke, Virginia – According to the Roanoke Police Department, a man is in the hospital following a shooting in Southeast Roanoke on Thursday afternoon.
Officers received a report of a shooting in the 1200 block of Pechin Avenue SE around 1:15 p.m.
Upon arrival, officers found a man suffering from a non-life threatening injury. EMS transported the man to a local hospital for treatment.
The suspect was also located at the location of the incident and taken for questioning at the Roanoke Police Department. According to our sources, no charges have been filed at this time.
Authorities say there is no danger to the publis as they believe this was an isolated incident.
