“Mr. Deskins has done wonderful work at George Washington High School for our students,” DPS Superintendent Dr. Angela Hairston said. “We appreciate his guidance, perseverance, and unyielding support of GW students. He will be missed by staff, administrators, and scholars alike.”
Deskins will finish his present academic term at GW. Within the next week, the GW principal position will be advertised, and DPS leadership will meet with staff and family to talk about the qualities they hope to see in GW’s future leader.
