Famous restaurant in Roanoke County announces its closure
Roanoke County, Virginia – A famous restaurant in Roanoke County has stopped working after almost 17 years of serving the community.
The restaurant, Veranda Bistro, was located at Lee Highway near Hollins University, was offering a great atmosphere and cuisine to visitors for more one and a half decade.
The owner of Veranda Bistro, Irene Karageorge, announced the closure through a social network. According to her, it was time for a retirement from the restaurant business, and selling it to new owners, who will soon reopen it under new name.
Karageorge wishes to continue catering local events and provide individual chef services.
