Adult male killed in Roanoke overnight shooting
Roanoke, Virginia – A man was killed in an overnight shooting in Roanoke.
The incident occurred in the 700 block of Hunt Avenue NW, close to Lincoln Terrace Elementary School, just after midnight on Thursday morning, and the police arrived shortly afterwards. Officers discovered an adult male suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound in a parking lot.
The man was declared dead at the scene by the responding medical personnel.
Since the next of kin have not yet been notified, the identity of the man is still undisclosed.
Investigators say that there isn’t much information about what happened before the shooting, and they also say that no arrests have been made or suspects have been found so far.
