Verbal dispute turned into a shooting, one hospitalized
Roanoke, Virginia – A man was wounded in a shooting in Roanoke on Saturday, October 30, at 12:30 a.m., according to police.
A disturbance was reported at 15th Street and Loudon Avenue NW, and police were dispatched at the scene.
Upon arrival officers discovered a man with what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries outside of a property. The individual was transported to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital by Roanoke Fire-EMS.
The incident happened outside a residence in the 1400 block of Loudon Avenue NW, according to investigators. A verbal dispute between the suspect and the victim, according to police, turned into a shooting.
No arrests have been made regarding this incident since no suspects were located at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
