Southeast Roanoke fire victim identified
Roanoke, Virginia – The 17-year-old who died earlier this month in Southeast Roanoke fire has been identified.
According to the medical report, the 17-year-old Keontae Lewis has died from smoke inhalation.
On May 13, two homes were burned down as a result of the fire that occurred on 10 ½ St. SE and thirteen people were displaced.
Keontae Lewis’s body was found after the fire was extinguished.
The investigation is ongoing.
