Norfolk man charged with second-degree murder after shopping center shooting
Norfolk, Virginia – A Norfolk man is charged with murder after he and another man were shot in a shopping center.
42-year-old Fareed Nelson-Luckett is the man charged in the shooting.
Officers responded to a call of shooting at a shopping center in Norfolk on Friday.
First responders found two men, Nelson-Luckett and 37-year-old Calvin Durham II, with obvious gunshot wounds.
Both of them were taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. Durham succumbed to his gunshot injuries at the hospital.
Nelson-Luckett is still hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.
