Motorcyclist killed in Roanoke County accident
Roanoke County, Virginia – According to Roanoke County police, a motorcyclist was killed after being involved in an accident in the county.
At approximately 5:30 p.m. on Monday, the crash occurred in the 4100 block of West Main Street, according to authorities.
According to authorities, Zachary Duncan, 22, of New Castle, was riding his Suzuki motorcycle when he was speeding and collided with a Toyota Tundra.
The police report states that Duncan was wearing a helmet when he was thrown from his motorcycle and died at the scene.
Authorities have said that drugs and alcohol did not play a role in the accident, which is still under investigation. There are currently no charges pending.
