Man wounded in Roanoke County shooting, arrest made
Roanoke, Virginia – A man is in serious condition after being shot near an apartment building in Roanoke County.
Officers responded in the 4300 block of Garst Mill Road to a call about shooting around 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. 19-year-old Calik Ty’Jhay Harris was found at the scene with life-threateening gunshot wounds and was transferred to a local hospital for treatment.
Law enforcement have arrested Camron Jeffries in connection to this case.
The victim and the shooter knew each other, police say.
