Industrial incident in Roanoke leaves one injured
Roanoke, Virginia – An industrial incident that occurred in Roanoke on Wednesday morning left one individual injured.
Roanoke Fire-EMS was sent to the 2000 block of Jefferson Street SE at 7:45 a.m., where they discovered a person in the cab of an excavator with non-life threatening injuries.
Crews were able to remove the individual from the heavy machinery before taking the subject to Roanoke Memorial Hospital, according to the fire department.
No additional information was released.
