2,117 new Covid-19 cases, 3 additional deaths reported in Virginia
Virginia – Virginia Department of Health reported 2,117 new Covid-19 cases and 3 additional virus related deaths on Wednesday. This is the largest number of Covid-19 cases in one day since February 21.
With the newly reported Covid-19 cases on Wednesday, Virginia now sees a total of 713,195 positive cases and 11,581 deaths since the beginning of the pandemic.
117 Virginians were hospitalized on Wednesday.
61.6% of the Virginia population has received at least one vaccine shot while 54.8% of the population is fully immunized.
