New delicious restaurant opened in Downtown Lynchburg
Lynchburg, Virginia – A family-run food truck, Vito’s Pizza, celebrated its grand opening on December 10 at the junction of Fifth and Madison Streets in Lynchburg.
Vito’s Pizza began as a mainly food truck company in 1994.
Following the COVID-19 pandemic, owner Seth Westgate realized he needed to change his dine-in business model.
Handmade pizza, strombolis, chicken wings, hand-cut fries, cookies, and more are now available at Vito’s Pizza.
Westgate said doing this with his family is a dream of his.
“We have always talked about starting a restaurant, how fun that would be. It is a really great opportunity, especially in the location and I’m really happy with being downtown,” Westgate said.
Vito’s Pizza will be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesdays and Thursdays, and from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Fridays and Sundays.
