Crews dispatched at 220 in Roanoke after crash
Roanoke, Virginia – Crews spent hours of cleanup to reopen part of northbound 220 in Roanoke.
A tractor trailer and at least one car were involved in the accident which happened between Colonial and Franklin on Wednesday.
It is still unknown whether someone was injured following the accident.
The hazardous materials crew from Roanoke Fire-EMS were dispatched to clean up a leak from the semi.
The closure was expected to last until 6 p.m., but lasted until just after 8 p.m.
