Virginia sees 378 new coronavirus cases, now reporting 670,834 statewide
As of May 18, Virginia is reporting 670,834 cases of the coronavirus across the commonwealth since March 2020.
As of Tuesday, a total of 7,158,336 vaccines have been administered across Virginia, with 3,246,784 people being fully vaccinated, according to VDH.
Here’s a breakdown of the 378 new cases reported on Tuesday:
As of Tuesday, the Virginia Dept. of Health reports there have been 9,600,916 total testing encounters.
The term “testing encounters” includes individuals who have been tested more than once due to their profession, high-risk status or need for a negative result to return to work.
